Age Limit as on 01-June-2015:
For Assistant Jailor Post: Minimum 22 years and maximum 27 years
For All others Posts: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years
Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification Criteria:
For Assistant Jailor Post: Candidates must be graduate in any stream.
For Warders/ Naiks: Candidates must have passed matriculation, and above examination.
For Driver/Barbers/ Cooks/ Electrician cum Plumbers: Candidates must have passed Class 8, and above examination.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
Candidates have to pay application fee in form of treasury challan of Rs. 100 to the head of account “0056-Jails-800 other receipts 03 (Other Items)”.

Warders Male, Warders Female, Driver (Male): Rs. 7700-15020/-
Naik AB (Male): Rs. 7100-13840/-
Electrician cum Plumber (Male): Rs. 8300-16270/
Cook (Male), Barber (Male): Rs. 6500-12700/-
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of physical test, written examination, and interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may submit/ drop duly completed application form in prescribed format along with copy of paid treasury challan, four recent passport size photographs (one is pasted on application form, one on the admit card, one on counter foil of admit card, and one on the application form as a spare), one self addressed envelope with Rs. 40/- stamp, self attested documents/ certificates as suggested in official advertisement; inside a wooden box similar to tender box, which will be made available in each jail from 10 AM to 4 PM daily except Sundays till the last date.
