Directorate of Sericulture and Weaving, Shillong, invites applications from eligible candidates (must be citizen of Meghalaya) for recruitment of Textile Designer-cum-Marketing Executive, and Cluster Development Executive on contract basis for a period of three years, for implementation of Cluster Development Programme under North Eastern Region Textile Promotion Scheme, in the office of the Directorate of Sericulture and Weaving, Meghalaya, Shillong.

Educational Qualification:
Textile Designer-cum-Marketing Executive: Candidates must be Graduate from NIFT/ NID, with at least one year experience. However, Candidates who have completed M.Sc. in Textile/ B.Sc. and B.Tech in Textile Technology and having minimum two years experience can also apply.
Cluster Development Executive: Candidates must have completed Diploma in Handloom and Textiles Technology from IIHT; OR Diploma from state government polytecnic preferably with costume design and garment technology; OR Have completed two years certificate course from ITI in Textile Technology; OR Have completed two years certificate course from HTI with minimum two years field experience in Textile Unit/ Handloom Clusters/ Handloom Unit.
