MARKFED is inviting competent applications from the citizens of India, for various positions in the centralized operation. The details of the vacancies and the criteria of eligibility is detailed as under:

Details of Job Positions:

1. Internal Auditor – 01 Post (SC)

• Pay Scale: Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 along with allowances
• Qualification: 1^st Class B.Com. with Chartered Accountant with 5 Years experience or  1^st Class B.Com. with Cost Accountant with at least 5 years in a manufacturing unit or Agro  based manufacturing industry or factory.

2. Deputy Chief Accounts Officer – 01 Post (SC)

• Pay Scale: Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 along with allowances
• Qualification: 1^st Class B.Com. with Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant with minimum 5 years experience

3. Senior Accounts Officer – 6 Posts (SC-3, BC-1, ESM-1, PH-1)

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- along with allowances
• Qualification: 1^st Class B.Com. with Chartered Accountant with 2 years experience Or 1^st Class B.Com. with ICWA with 2 years experience

4. Technical Officer – 5 Posts (Gen-1, SC-3, ESM-1)

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5000/- along with allowances
• Qualification: 1st Class B.Sc. (Ag) with 1^st Class M.Sc.  (Ag) with specialization in Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Food Technology and with minimum 2 years of experience

5. Field Officer (Preservation) – 21 Posts – (Gen-10, SC-2, BC-1, ESM-5, PH-2, Sportsman-SC-1)

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.3800 along with allowances
• Qualification: 1^st Class B.Sc. (Agriculture)

6. Field Officer (General) – 71 Posts (Gen-05, SC-27, BC-10, ESM-18 PH-5, Sportsman-5, FF-1)

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.3800 along with allowances
• Qualification: 2^nd class B.Sc. Ag with minimum 50% of marks

7. Assistant Field Officer – 92 Posts (Gen-37, SC-22, BC-10, ESM-15, PH-4, Sportsman-3, FF-1)

• Pay Scale: Rs.5910-Rs.20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.2400 along with allowances
• Qualification:  2^nd class B.Sc. (Agriculture)

8.  Assistant Sales Officer – 6 Posts (Gen-3, SC-1, ESM-2)

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.3800 along with allowances
• Qualification: 2^nd Class Graduate with One year Diploma in Marketing OR, MBA with specialization in Marketing

9. Assistant Accountant – 23 Posts (Gen-2, SC-11, BC-2, ESM–6, PH-1, Sportsman 1(SC)

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay Rs.3800 along with allowances
• Qualification: 1^st Class B.Com. with  One year PGDCA (Excel, Data Management and MS-Office)

For Kapurthala Plant:

10. Production Manager – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 along with allowances
• Qualification: B.E.(Mechanical)/ (Production )/ (Chemical) with 5 years experience in managerial capacity in  relevant Industrial Unit

11. Manager (QC) – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade  Pay of Rs.5400 along with allowances
• Qualification:  M.Sc (Chemistry) with 5 years experience in relevant Industrial Unit

For Khanna Plant:

12. General Manager – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.8400 along with allowances
• Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Oil Technology/ B.E. (Mechanical)/ Chemical/ Production Engineering With at least 3 years experience in a managerial capacity in Industrial Unit for processing of Vanaspati & Refined Oils

13. Production Manager – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 along with allowances
• Qualification:  B.E (Mechanical)/ Chemical/ Production/ Oil Technology with 5 years experience  in Vanaspati & Refined Oil Industries

14. Quality Control In-charge – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5000 along with allowances
• Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry) with 5 years Experience in Vanaspati & Refined Oil Industries

For MARKFED Agro Chemicals Mohali:

15. Deputy General Manager – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.7800 along with allowances
• Qualification: 1^st Class M.Sc (Chemistry)/ B.E. (Chemical Engg.)  with 3 years Experience for handling of pesticide Units Or, 1^st Class B.Sc. (Chemistry) and MBA with 3 years experience of handling of pesticide Unit

16. Chemist – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.3800 along with allowances
• Qualification: 1^st Class B.Sc (Chemistry) with 3 years experience of working in Lab of Pesticide Unit

For MARKFED Canneries Jalandhar:

17. Manager – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5400 along with allowances
• Qualification: Post Graduate degree in food Technology or equivalent with 3 years experience in  managerial capacity in  relevant Industrial Unit

18. Retort Supervisor – 02 Posts (Gen-1, SC-1)

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5000 along with allowances
• Qualification:  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experience in Food Processing Industry

19. Chef – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5000 along with allowances
• Qualification: 3 years Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent with 3 years experience as Chef de-Partie in a Hotel of at least 3-5 star category

20. Assistant Food Technologist – 01 Post

• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-Rs.34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.3800 along with allowances
• Qualification: B.Sc. with Diploma in Food Processing and minimum 2 Years Experience

Application fees:

• The General category: Rs.700
• The SC/ST category: Rs.350
• The Ex-Servicemen: Exempted from paying any fees
• fees shall be accepted only in the shape of crossed Demand Draft/ Pay Order/ Banker Cheque in favor of “The Punjab State Cooperative Supply & Marketing Federation Limited” payable at Chandigarh
• Candidate should write his name & address on the back side of Demand Draft/ Pay Order/ Banker Cheque

Age: All candidates should be between 18-37 years as on 1-Jan-2013. Upper age limit is relaxable as per norms

Essential Language Knowledge:

The Applicants must have Matriculation with Punjabi or its equivalent and should be well-conversant with Computer Operation (MS-Office)
