Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) invites On-line Applications from Indian Citizens for selection and appointment of 5201 Apprentice Development Officers (ADO) in the jurisdiction of the various Divisional Offices under Central Zonal Office, East Central Zonal Office, North Central Zonal Office, East Zonal Office, North Zonal Office, South Zonal Office, South Central Zonal Office, and Western Zonal Office.
This profile is for a marketing job. Candidates appointed to the ADO position will be required to find and sponsor suitable candidates for appointment. Those candidates work as life insurance agents. It’s ADO’s duty to train them properly and procure insurance business for the corporation through his or her unit of agents. ADO will also be required to give prompt after-sales service to policyholders.
During the apprentice period, the candidate selected as an Apprentice Development Officer will be paid a
fixed amount per month as stipend as ₹ 51500/- per month.
Selected candidates will have to undergo theoretical and field sales training. On successful completion of apprenticeship, candidates may appointed as a Development Officer on probation [The period of probation shall be for one year which may be extended up to two years], and placed in the scale of pay Rs. 35,650-2200(2)-40,050-2595(2)-45,240-2645(17)-90,205 plus allowances and other benefits as per rules.

Qualification: Candidates must have completed Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university. Candidates possess Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a recognised University, will be preferred.
Candidates having at least two years experience in life insurance industry will be preferred.
Age Limit: The applicant shall have completed 21 years of age (in completed years) and not more than 30 years of age as on 01-January-2023. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002 (both days inclusive) as on 01-January-2023. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of online test [Phase-I: Preliminary Examination and Phase-II : Main Examination], followed by interview.

For All other category candidates: Rs. 750/- Application Fees-cum-Intimation Charges, and Transaction Charges
