Karnataka Public Service Commission, invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Senior Medical Officer/ Specialists, and General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO), in the department of Health, Government of Karnataka. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and interview.
Note: Candidates selected for the posts General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO), shall work in the rural areas for a minimum period of six years.

Educational Qualification:
Senior Medical Officer/ Specialists: Candidates must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in relevant field from a recognised University established by law in India. Candidates should have Doctor of Medicine (M.D) Degree in relevant discipline.
General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO): Candidates must have MBBS Degree from an recognised University established by Law in India.
Pay Scale:
Senior Medical Officer/ Specialists: Rs. 30400-51300/-
Dental Health Officers, General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO): Rs. 28100-50100/-
