Educational Qualification Criteria: Candidates must be holder of a Degree in Law granted by a university established by Law in India, and must have practicing as an Advocate for a period not less than seven years; in the High Court or in a Subordinate Court as on the last date for receipt of applications.
Public Prosecutor/ Assistant Public Prosecutor/ Government Counsel in full time employment of the state having minimum seven years of continuous practice immediately preceding the last date for receipt of application, are also eligible for appointment.
Age Limit As on 30-April-2018: Candidates should not have exceeded 48 years of age in case of SC/ ST category candidates, and 45 years of age in case general merit, and all other category candidates. There is three years of relaxation in upper age limit for ex-serviceman.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be eligible to get the pay scale Rs. 51550-63070/-
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination of 100 marks, main examination of 150 marks, and interview of 50 marks.
Preliminary Exam Fee:
SC/ ST/ category- I candidates: Rs.250/-
For general merit, and all other category candidates: Rs.500/-
Candidates can make the payment in form of SBI challan generated online in any branch of State Bank of India, or SBI online payment gateway.
