Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant in Secretariat Service and Public Service Commission through Assistant Competitive Examination 2014.

Name of the Posts along with Vacancies:
Assistant – 114 Posts [104 Posts in Jharkhand Secretariat Service, and 10 Posts in Jharkhand Public Service Commission]
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years as on 01-August-2015. [Relaxation in age limit as per rules]
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree in any subject or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- (Pay Band- 2) + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
Application Fee:
- For SC/ ST (Reserved) category candidates of Jharkhand State: Rs.125/-
- For All other candidates: Rs.500/-
- Candidates can make the payment through Bank Challan, and online mode by using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking facility.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of Preliminary Examination (30 questions from general knowledge, 30 questions from general science and mathematics, 30 question from mental ability test, and 30 questions from basic computer knowledge), and Main Examination (120 questions from Hindi and English language knowledge, 120 questions from general knowledge [Main]). Only those candidates will be allowed to appear in main examination, who have qualified in preliminary examination.

Applicants may download the admit card from official website of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission, once notified the same. No admit card will be send through post.
