Qualification: Candidates must have passed matriculation (10th standard) or equivalent examination from Jharkhand education board/ institutions.
Minimum Eligibility for Home Guard Candidates: Candidates must have valid registration as Home Guard from Jharkhand State, and have completed three years after registration or have done six months active service.
Age Limit As on 01-August-2015: Minimum 18 yeas and
Maximum 25 years for unreserved open candidates [30 years for unreserved Home Guard]
Maximum 27 years for EBC (Schedule-1) and BC (Schedule-2) (Male) open candidates [32 years for EBC (Schedule-1) and BC (Schedule-2) (Male) Home Guard]
Maximum 28 years for Unreserved, EBC (Schedule-1) & BC (Schedule-2) Female open candidates (33 years for Unreserved, EBC (Schedule-1) & BC (Schedule-2) Female Home Guard)
Maximum 30 years for SC/ ST open candidates [35 years for SC/ ST Home Guard]
Examination Fee:
Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST category Candidates
Rs. 200/- for All other candidates
Applicants are suggested to apy the examination fee online through Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, or through Netbanking, Debit Card facility of any bank. Candidates are also suggested to pay additional bank charges.
