Jawahar Lal Nehru National Solar Mission, major initiative of the Government of India and State Governments to promote renewable energy, especially solar power; launched on the 11-January-2010 by the Prime Minister.
Jawahar Lal Nehru National Solar Mission, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Surya Mitra, and Helper Positions.

Educational Qualification:
Surya Mitra- Candidates applying for this vacancy of Surya Mitra should possess Intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent qualification.
Helper- Candidates applying for this vacancy of Helper should possess 8 or equivalent qualification.
Upper Age Limit: 36 years for Surya Mitra, and 40 years for Helper Post as on 15th September 2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Application Fee: Online Payment Mode
Rs. 320/- for general/ OBC category candidates
Rs. 240/- for SC/ ST category candidates
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination ( Objective type and OMR based). There will be 120 objective type Questions consisting of 60 questions from respective stream and 60 questions on Generic Area covering the topics Logical, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Awareness and Aptitude; followed by interview.
