Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission invites application from eligible permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State, for recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Public Works (R&B) Department.

Age Limit:
Candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years for all categories; and not above than 40 years for open merit, 43 years for SC/ ST/ RBA/ ALC/ SLC category candidates, 42 years for PH candidates as on 01-January-2015.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A & B) India (Civil Engineering).
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300 – 34800/- +Grade Pay Rs. 5200 plus Allowances as admissible
Application Form/ Fee:
- For General Category candidates: 500/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/-)
- For All other category candidates: Rs. 250/- (excluding processing charges of 10/-)
- Candidates are suggested to obtain the application form the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Solina Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on all working days.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of Written Screening Test, and Interview.

Eligible candidates may send/ submit duly completed application form, a copy of passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer should be pasted at the relevant place/space in the Application Form, along with photo copies of all required documents/ certificates as suggested in official advertisement, to the office of the J&K Public Service Commission Solina, Srinagar /Resham Garh Colony Bakshi Nagar Jammu.
