Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, invites application from eligible ST category candidates for recruitment of Staff Nurse.

Upper Age Limit: 40 years as on 03-April-2015
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution. Candidates must be Registered as Nurse and Midwife under Indian Nursing Council Act 1947/ any State Nursing Council.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- (Pay Band-2) + Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis if written test.
Examination Fee: Rs. 250/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the examination fee in form of Demand Draft in favour of „ The Director, JIPMER‟ Payable at Puducherry (State Bank of India – JIPMER Branch).
PWD candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
