Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space under Government of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Scientist/ Engineer “SC” in Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science disciplines.
This is All India Position. Selected candidates may appointed in centres/ units of the Indian space research organization/ department of Space situated throughout India. All the advertised vacancies are temporary for now, but Likely to be Permanent.

Upper Age Limit as on March 13, 2014: 35 years
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- plus grade pay of Rs.5400/-
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed BE/ B.Tech Degree (First Class) or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 65%. Final semester candidates may also apply, but will have to submit final degree by August 31, 2014.

Candidates are suggested to pay the fee in form of Cash Deposit through Challan. Applicants may down-load and print the personalized payment challan form, in triplicate, from the ISRO system, after successful registration of online application. Candidates may visit the nearest State Bank of India Branch for remittance of application fee to Receipt Account (Account Number).
Candidates are suggested to send ISRO Copy of Fee Challan within 7 days of filing of application, OR anyhow before March 21, 2014.
Applicants are suggested to have Applicant copy of Fee Challan for further references.
Note: Women candidates/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from paying the fee. However, after registration of application on-line, the candidates have to down-load and print the personalized registration confirmation form, in duplicate, from the ISRO system, the candidates have to send ISRO Copy of Fee Challan/ Registration confirmation Form within 7 days of filing of application, OR anyhow before March 21, 2014.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be based on basis of written test followed by interview.
