Technical Assistant: 12 vacancy in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Civil Engineering
Scientific Assistant: 01 Vacancy in Chemistry Discipline
Technician B: 18 vacancies [Fitter/ Turner/ Electrician/ Refrigeration & AC/ Electronic Mechanic/ Welder/ Photographer Trades]
Draughtsman: 01 Vacancy in Civil Discipline

Educational Qualification:
Technical Assistant: Candidates must possess Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Civil Engineering.
Technician B: Candidates must have passed SSLC/ SSC Examination, and have ITI/ NTC/ NAC in Fitter/ Turner/ Electrician/ Refrigeration & AC/ Electronic Mechanic/ Welder/ Photographer Trade NCVT.
Scientific Assistant: First Class Graduation in Chemistry.
Draughtsman: SSLC/SSC pass ITI in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade NCVT with NTC/NAC.
Fireman: SSLC/SSC pass Should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness/Endurance Standards.
Driver-cum-Operator ‘A’: SSLC/SSC pass with valid HVD license 3 years experience as HVD (should be acquired after obtaining license) Should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness/Endurance Standards.
Catering Attendant ‘A’: SSLC/SSC pass
Upper Age Limit: 35 years (25 years for Fireman, Driver-cum-Operator, Catering Attendant) as on 25-October-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant: Level 6 in the Pay Matrix
Technician B, Draughtsman B, Driver-cum-Operator A: Level 3 in the Pay Matrix
Fireman A: Level 2 in the Pay Matrix
Catering Attendant ‘A’: Level 1 in the Pay Matrix
Selection Process: Candidates applying for Fireman, Driver-cum-Operator Posts will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Physical Fitness/Endurance Test. Candidates applying for all other Posts will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Skill Test (Curriculum based). The Written Test/Skill Test will be conducted in Nagercoil/ Mahendragiri only.
