Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), invited applications for recruitment of the post of Light Vehicle Driver (LVD), Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) and Staff Car Driver (SCD) at various Department of Space/ ISRO Centres/ Units located at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Sriharikota, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Light Vehicle Driver (LVD)- 50 Vacancies
Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD)- 76 Vacancies
Staff Car Driver (SCD)- 02 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram/ skill test, followed by interview.

Pay Scale: Level 2 in 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix, minimum basic pay of Rs. 19900/- per month

Candidates must have passed SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/ 10th standard examination.
Candidates should have minimum three years of experience for light vehicle, five years experience for Heavy Vehicle in Government/ Semi Government agencies/ Registered Companies/ Societies/ Trusts, etc.
Candidates must possess valid LVD/ HVD licence and Public Service Badge, if statutory.
Upper Age Limit As on 28-August-2017: 35 years for general category candidates, 38 years for OBC category candidates, and 40 years for SC/ ST category candidates. Further relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
Applicants are suggested to remit the application fee ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card; OR in form of payment challan form in triplicate, that may downloaded from the ISRO system which will contain the Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement Number, and Post Code. Candidates are suggested to print the challan and visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee.
