Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the Posts of Manager, Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and General Manager through All India open competition examination for its various offices. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and/or interview.

08 Posts of Assistant General Manager in Grade C
02 Posts of Deputy General Manager in Grade D
01 Post of General Manager in Grade E

Candidates must have fulfill required education and professional qualification, and experiences in order to be eligible for consideration. Candidates are strongly suggested to verify he/ she fulfill minimum eligibility criteria before applying for said post(s).

Pay Scale:
Rs.35150-62400/- for Manager in Grade B
Rs.49000-72200/- for Assistant General Manager in Grade C
Rs.68500-86300/- for Deputy General Manager in Grade D
Rs.72800-102350/- for General Manager in Grade E

[FINAL SELECTION LIST ANNOUNCED] IRDAI HR/Recruitment/Aug 2017
Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Assistant Manager through All India open competition examination for its various offices.

Assistant Manager- 30 Vacancies [General- 20 Posts, Actuarial- 04 Posts, Accounts- 04 Posts, Legal- 02 Posts]

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of
Phase I Online Examination of 160 marks of 100 minutes duration [Qualifying Examination to be eligible for Phase II] covering the topics as Test of Reasoning/ Test of English Language/ Test of General Awareness/ Test of Quantitative aptitude.
Phase II Online Descriptive Examination of three papers namely English/ Economic and Social Issues impacting Insurance/ Insurance and Management of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration for each papers, followed by Interview.

Important Dates:
Opening Date for Submission of Online Application: 15-August-2017
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 05-September-2017
Date of Phase I Online Examination: 04-October-2017

Age limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years as on 05-September-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates applicable as per government orders.

Qualification:
For General- Candidates must possess first class Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/ years.

For Actuarial Specialization- Candidates must possess first class Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/ years, and have Pass in Nine papers of Institute of Actuaries.

For Accounting Specialization- Candidates must possess first class Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/ years, and ACA/ AICWA/ ACMA/ ACS/ CFA

For Legal Specialization- Candidates must possess first class Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/ years, and LL.B with minimum 60% marks; OR Five year Integrated LLB Course in First class with 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/ years.

Application Fee: Online payment for both phases together
Rs. 100/- as Intimation charges for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates
Rs. 650/- as Examination fee and Intimation charges for All other category candidates
Candidates have to make the payment of requisite fee/ intimation charges through online mode only by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro),
Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Applicants are suggested to take a printout of the e-Receipt and on-line Application Form for further references.
