Paradip Refinery Project, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Trade/ Technical Apprentices in various disciplines. Selected candidates will be on training for a period of 18 months for Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) positions, and 12 months for all other positions.
Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) in Chemical Discipline- 10 Positions
Trade Apprentice (Fitter) in Mechanical Discipline- 05 Positions
Technician Apprentice in Chemical Discipline- 20 Positions
Technician Apprentice in Mechanical Discipline- 10 Positions
Technician Apprentice in Electrical Discipline- 15 Positions
Educational Qualification:
Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) in Chemical Discipline- Candidates must have completed three years full time B.Sc. (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry).
Trade Apprentice (Fitter) in Mechanical Discipline- Candidates must have passed matriculation examination with two years ITI (Fitter) course.
Technician Apprentice in Chemical Discipline- Candidates must have completed three years full time Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Refinery & Petrochemicals Engineering.
Technician Apprentice in Mechanical Discipline- Candidates must have completed three years full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Technician Apprentice in Electrical Discipline- Candidates must have completed three years full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Stipend:
Selected candidates forthe position of Trade Apprentice will get the stipend of Rs. 6970/- during first year, and stipend of Rs. 7220/- during second year.
Selected candidates forthe position of Technician Apprentice will get the stipend of Rs. 7530/-.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years as on 31-July-2015. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and Interview. Candidates will have to qualify successfully through each stage of the selection process.
