IOCL Haldia Refinery Recruitment 2016: 70 Trade/ Technician Apprentices

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Haldia Refinery invites application from eligible candidates for for engagement as Apprentices under Apprentices Act,1961/1973 in Boiler/ Fitter/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Trade/ Discipline. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and personal interview.

Trade Apprentice (Boiler) Discipline-Mechanical: 10 Positions
Trade Apprentice (Fitter) Discipline-Mechanical: 05 Positions

Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) Discipline-Chemical: 39 Positions

Technician Apprentice Discipline-Mechanical: 12 Positions
Technician Apprentice Discipline-Electrical: 02 Positions
Technician Apprentice Discipline-Instrumentation: 02 Positions

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 20-May-2016

Period of Apprenticeship:
Trade Apprentice (Boiler)- 36 Months
Trade Apprentice (Fitter)- 12 Months
Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) – 18 Months
Technician Apprentice Discipline- Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation: 12 Months

Qualification:
Trade Apprentice (Boiler)- Candidates must possess three years full time B.Sc.(Physics, Maths, Chemistry).
Trade Apprentice(Fitter)- Candidates must have passed matriculation and have completed two years ITI (Fitter) course.
Trade Apprentice/ Attendant Operator(Chemical Plant) – Candidates must possess three years full time B.Sc.(Physics, Maths, Chemistry).
Technician Apprentice Discipline- Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation: Candidates must possess three years full time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years as on 31-March-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
