Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs has released written test results for the post of Personal Assistant. Intelligence Bureau has conducted written examination for the post of Personal Assistant on March 20, 2016.

Selected candidates on the basis of written examination, have to attend for Skill Test in stenography to be held on 11-June-2016, and 12-June-2016. Call letter for the skill test would be sent at the Email ID, provided by the candidates.
IB Recruitment 2016, IB Personal Assistant Job Notification- Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Personal Assistant, General Central Service, Group‐‘B’ (Non‐Gazetted/Ministerial) in the Intelligence Bureau.
Personal Assistant- 69 Vacancies (Unreserved- 38 Posts, OBC- 10 Posts, SC- 13 Posts, ST- 08 Posts)
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination [Objective type paper of 80 marks, and Descriptive paper of 70 marks], followed by Stenography Skill Test of 50 marks.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the post of Personal Assistant in IB, will get the scale of pay Rs. 9300‐34800/- (Pay Band-2) plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with proficiency in stenography.
Dictation: 10 minutes@ 100 words per minute
Stenography Skill @ Computer‐transcription of shorthand (40 minutes for transcription in English and 55 minutes for Hindi respectively, on computer).
Candidates having Knowledge of computer operation will get preferred.
Age limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 20-February-2016. The upper age limit is relaxable by three years for OBC candidates, and five years for SC/ST category candidates. The further relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per central government rules.
Examination Fee: Rs. 50/-
Male applicants belonging to General and OBC category are suggetsed to pay the examination fee in form of cash deposit at any branch of State Bank of India using the Challan form.
Candidates can get the challan form in part II of the online application. Candidates are suggested to take a printout of Challan form and deposit
the fee in cash in any branch of State Bank of India after a gap of one working day.
The candidates should verify the status of their payment on the application portal after two working days from the date of depositing the fees.

Applicants are suggested to take the print out of the Registration Slip for further references. Candidates should also note down their registration number and Roll Number separately.
Admit Card/ Call Letters: The admit cards for the written examination and call letters for the skill test would be sent to the email provided by the candidate. Candidate will also have an option to download their admit card/call letter from the website of Ministry of Home Affairs.
