Indian Navy is one of the naval branches In Indian Defence forces. The post of Commander in-Chief of Indian Navy is occupied by the President of India. The main function if the Indian Navy is to provide security to India on its maritime borders.
Indian Navy has announced the vacancies are for the post of sailors for Artificer apprentice (AA) – the 134 batch.
Important Dates:
Last date of online registration for the post is December 31, 2012 while the receipt of the hard copy of the application at the prescribed address is January 6 2013.
Last date of receiving the hard copy of the application for the applicants from J&K, Andaman & Nicobar, North East and Lakshadweep & Minicoy Island is January 13 2013.
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualifications for applying for are post is as follows-
1. The applying candidates should be unmarried male and an Indian citizen.
2. Must have completed 10+2 with minimum 55% marks in Maths &Physics.
Additionally include any of these subjects Computer Science/Chemistry/Biology.
Age Limit:
The birth date of the applicant must fall between August 1, 1993 and July 31, 1996 (including both dates).
Pay Scale:
The basic pay band for the posts is Rs. 5200-20200. Additionally the grade pay @Rs. 2000/-, MSP @Rs. 2000/-, Rs.1400/- as ‘X’ Group Pay and DA.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be hired on the basis of the merit list prepared on the performances in various test namely-
1. Written test
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
3. Medical examination
Candidates will be issued the call letter or admit cards to appear for above stages.
Mode of Application:
Mode of application is online only. Manually filled applications will be rejected. Candidates needs to take out the print out of the filled application form and needed to be sent on the prescribed address.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates have to apply online only by visiting the Indian Navy website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in. Enter the details carefully and click on submit button. Candidates need to note down the application number generated after successful registration on the website. Take two print outs of the online application forms and send one copy signed along with attested photo copies of 10+2 mark sheet, two domicile and (22X10 cms) self-addressed envelopes, clear photograph with Blue background to the following address-“Post Box no. 476, Gol Dak Khana, GPO, New Delhi-110001”.
The application form should be enclosed along with the required documents in an envelope with superscription “Online AA Application- 134 Batch & 10+2 percentage…………. ”.
