Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2013 For Matric (10th) Passed As Navik

Indian Coast Guard invites application from unmarried male candidates for the post of Navik (Domestic Branch (Cook & Steward).

Last Date for Submission of Application for North East regions, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep and Kavarathi Islands: July 29, 2013

Download of Call Letter: September, 2013 (Tentative)

Declaration of Final Selected Candidates: March, 2014

Commencement of Training: April 2014

Name of the Post: Navik (Domestic Branch (Cook & Steward))

Age Limit: Candidates should be born in between April 01, 1992 to March 31, 1996.

Pay Scale: Rs 5200 –20200/- + Rs 1900 Grade Pay

Educational Qualification:

Matric with 60% marks from an education board recognised by Central/ State Government.

Selection Process:

Written Test, followed by Physical Fitness Test, and Medical Examination (Preliminary), only for those candidates who have passed written test.

Note: Shortlisted candidates on basis of higher education and percentage of marks, will have to appear for written examination, with supportive documents (Matric Certificate, Proof of Identity as Adhar card/ voter I card/ passport, driving license/ School/ college ID card or any other photo identity proof, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Character certificate, and Ten recent colour passport size photographs.) in original for scrutiny purpose.

Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo Final Medical Examination at INS Chilka in order to get enrolled in the service.

Eligible candidates may send duly completed application in prescribed format in all manners pinned/ tagged with Matric marks sheet and certificates as DOB, caste certificate if applicable, one self addressed envelope, one additional recent passport size photograph to the respective Zonal recruitment centre as mentioned below by ORDINARY POST ONLY;

Candidates are strongly suggested to write the type of entry, choice of examination centre, and percentage of marks of 10th class on the top of the envelope.
