Indian Army invites application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of post of Tradesman Mate, Fireman, LDC and Material Assistant at 17 Field Ammunition Depot FAD C/O 56 APO. All selected Candidates will be on two years’ probation period after appointment.
Tradesman Mate (Erstwhile Mazdoor Trade) – 97 Vacancies
Fireman – 1 Vacancy
Material Assistant – 7 Vacancies
Lower Division Clerk – 10 Vacancies

Minimum Qualification Required:
Tradesman Mate: The candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from recognized Board) with good Knowledge of Hindi.
Fireman: The candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from recognized Board).
Material Assistant: The candidate must possess Graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized University or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from any recognized Institution.
LDC: The candidate must have passed 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University with minimum typing speed 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on the computer.
Age Limit:
Tradesman Mate/ Fireman/ LDC: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 25 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.
Material Assistant: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 27 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.
However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Tradesman Mate: Rs 5200- 20200/ with grade pay of Rs. 1800/-
Fireman, LDC: Rs 5200- 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 1900/-
Material Assistant: Rs 5200- 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 2800/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Physical Endurance Test/ Skill test.
