Age Limit: Candidates should be born between November 01, 1994 and November 30, 1997, both dates inclusive.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed 12th with science, Arts or Commerce subject or equivalent vocational courses or three years Diploma in any stream with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
Whom are Eligible to Appear:
1) School/ College/ Education Boards/ Councils from where candidates have passed the qualifying examination should be within the geographical/ administrative limits of the States of Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya.
2) Permanent Domicile of States of Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya who have passed the qualifying examination from anywhere in India.
3) Sons of Serving / Retired / Discharged / Deceased Air Force Personnel, irrespective of their domicile status may be permitted to appear in the rally subject to submission of Son of Air Force Personnel Certificate as a proof.
Stipend (During Training): Rs. 8,550/- pm
Pay Scale: Rs. 20,500/- pm to Rs.38700/- per month plus perks [ Ration, Clothing, Medical facilities, Accommodation, CSD (Canteen) facilities, Leave (60 days Annual and 30 days Casual in a Calendar year as a privilege), Education concession to children, Recreational facilities, Transport for school going children and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) as per rules.]
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates may appear for Recruitment Rally with required writing materials and documents as HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/ Blue Ball Point Pen for writing, seven copies of recent passport-size colour photograph, two unstamped self addressed 24×10 cm white envelopes; and all educational certificates, marks sheets and Domicile Certificate as well as NCC certificates (if applicable), in form of originals and three photo state copies; at the Rally venue within reporting time.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on basis of Verification of eligibility, Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview, followed by Medical Examination.
Selected candidates will be enrolled for initial period of 20 years that is extendable up to the age of 57 years. Selected candidates will have to undergo 24 weeks of Joint Basic Phase Training at Airman Training School, Belgaum (Karnataka), initially. On successful JBPT, candidates will be allocated trades and undergo trade training for specified periods. Finally, candidates will be deployed as Airman on ground based jobs as per allocated trades.
