India Government Mint Kolkata,a Unit of SPMCIL under administrative control of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Junior Office Assistant, Junior Hindi Translator, and Technical Supervisor in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Metallurgy Disciplines. Candidates will be selected on the basis of online Written Examination/ Skill Test held tentatively in April, 2016.

Educational Qualification:
Junior Office Assistant: Candidates must possess Graduation with minimum 55% marks, and have computer knowledge with typing speed in English at the rate of 40 wpm/ Hindi at the rate of 30 wpm. Candidates having Proficiency in office assistance, will get preferred.
Junior Hindi Translator: Candidates must possess Master Degree in Hindi or English from a recognised university, and have English/ Hindi as a subject in graduation level. Candidates should have one year experience in translation from Hindi to English and Vice-versa.
Supervisor (Tech.) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Metallurgy: Candidates must possess three years Diploma with first Division in the relevant trade. Candidates possess B.Tech. Degree in the relevant trade will get preferred.
Age Limit As on 31-January-2016: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years for Junior Office Assistant Post, and 30 years for Junior Hindi Translator and Technical Supervisor Posts. Relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Junior Office Assistant: Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- (CDA) plus allowances
Junior Hindi Translator/ Supervisor (Tech.): Rs. 12300-25400/- (IDA) plus allowances
Examination Fee: Rs. 350/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the examination fee through online payment gateway from 27-Jan-2016 to 27-Feb-2016. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Challenged category/Ex-Serviceman are exempted from payment of examination fee.
