Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is one of the vital nodal agencies of the state engaged in recruitment of Group ‘B’ and Group ‘A’ cadre positions in the state. With the recent announcement, the Haryana Public Service Commission has notified for recruitment of various positions through a competitive selection examination.

- Haryana Forest Service (Gr-B in Forest Dept): 06 Posts (UR-04, BC-02)
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Public Health Engineering Dept: 44 Posts (UR-23, SC-09, BC-04, SBC-02, EBP(GC)-02, PH-01, Ex-SM-03)
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in Public Health Engineering Dept: 02 Posts (UR-Unreserved)
Scale of Pay:
- Assistant Treasury Officers: The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600 + Special Pay of Rs.100
- Haryana Forest Service: The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600 along with other applicable allowances.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 along with other applicable allowances.
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 along with other applicable allowances.
NOTE: Other allowances and perks will be applicable for these selected candidates as per the state government norms.
Essential Educational Qualification:
- Assistant Treasury Officers: The applicants must have passed Bachelors Degree of equivalent with Hindi up to Matriculation standard.
- Haryana Forest Service: The applicants must have passed at least 2nd class degree of Bachelor or Master of natural science, Mathematics, Geology, Engineering or Agriculture or an equivalent qualification with Hindi up to Matriculation standard.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): The applicants must have passed a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent as specified in Appendix “B” to the Punjab Service of Engineers Class-II PWD (Public Health) Rules with Hindi up to Matriculation standard.
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): The applicants must have passed a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent as specified in Appendix “B” to the Punjab Service of Engineers Class-II PWD (Public Health) Rules with Hindi up to Matriculation standard.
Essential Age Requirement:
- Assistant Treasury Officers: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 27-May-2014.
- Haryana Forest Service: The candidate should not be less than 19 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 01-Mar-2014.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): The candidate should not be less than 20 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 01-Aug-2013.
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): The candidate should not be less than 20 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 01-Aug-2013.
- However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for reserved category of candidates as per the state government norms.

Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be done by through the Written Exam followed by a Personal Interview as per the discretion of the HPSC.
- Candidates who qualify on a merit ranking will be allowed to join respective services as per the Departments.
