HPPSC Advertisement No. 12/2016- Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers Class III (Non-Gazetted) Posts on Contract basis, in the Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.E. or B. Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent degree from a recognized University/ Institute; OR
B.E. or B. Tech. in any Stream from a recognized University/ Institute and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Technology/ Applications or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute; OR
M. Sc. (Computer Science)/ MCA or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute; OR
Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Physics from a recognized University with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Applications from a recognized University/ Institute; OR
“B” or “C” level course from DOEACC Society, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
Note: Candidates should have minimum five years teaching experience as Computer Teacher in Schools of Himachal Pradesh.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 45 years as on 01-Jan-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Exam Fee:
Rs.400/- for General category candidates
Rs.100/- for General BPL, and SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates of Himachal Pradesh
Ex-Servicemen of H.P. are exempted from payment of examination fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the examination fee in shape of system generated e-challan in cash at any branch of Punjab National Bank, or by using Visa/ Master Card/ Credit/ Debit Card.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Test, and Viva-voce.
