Welder in SMAW, CO2(MIGMAG) & TIG Welding/ Gas Cutters: 59 Posts

Fitter (General including Structural Fitters): 46 Posts
Mobile Crane Operator: 03 Posts
Pipe Fitters (Plumber): 10 Posts
Turner/ Machinist: 02 Posts

Nature of Job: Permanent
Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 25-July-2015. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed in SSC or Equivalent examination .
Candidates must have ITI in the relevant trade with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination in concerned Trade conducted by NCVT of the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labour, Government of India for the posts Welders, Pipe Fitters, and Carpenters.
Candidates must have three years Fitter Structural Training Course with National Apprenticeship
Certificate (NAC) Examination in concerned Trade conducted by NCVT of the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labour, Government of India for the Fitters posts.
Candidates must have experience in operation of EOT/ Electric Cranes for the Electricians posts.
Candidates must possess Driving Licence for heavy vehicle and practical experience in operating all types of cranes including EOT cranes for Mobile Crane Operator posts.
Experience: Candidates must have minimum four years experience in the relevant trade in Shipbuilding/ Ship repairs/ Naval Dockyards.
