The Company has its headquartered in Kottayam District of Kerala. Hindustan Newsprint Limited is actually a subsidiary of HPC (Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited) which is also an Indian government enterprise. HNL was incorporated by the Government of Kerala in 1974 by signing the agreement with Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited.
