Haryana Staff Selection Commission invites online applications for Induction of Canal Patwari in Irrigation and Water Resources Department, and Gram Sachiv in Development and Panchayat Department. Selected candidates will be appinted in the scale of pay Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-.
Canal Patwari- 892 vacancies
Selected candidates will be on training for a period of six months. Candidates who have passed the departmental Patwari Examination after completion of six months of training, will be appointed as Canal Patwari.
Gram Sachiv- 435 vacancies

Educational Qualification:
Canal Patwari- Candidates must have passed matriculation or its equivalent examination, and have read Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric Standard or higher education. Candidates having higher qualification would get preferred.
Gram Sachiv- Candidates must have passed Matric/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 (Vocational) from any recognized institution or its equivalent examination, and have read Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric Standard or higher education.
Age Limit:
Canal Patwari- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 42 years as on 21-October-2015
Gram Sachiv- Minimum 17 years and Maximum 42 years as on 21-October-2015
Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates applicable as per government rules.
Fee:
Rs. 100/- for unreserved male candidates and female non resident of Haryana
Rs. 50/- for female resident of Haryana
Rs. 25/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG male candidates of Haryana State only
Rs. 13/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG female candidates of Haryana State only
The fee must be deposited through Net banking or e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala, Punjab National Bank and IDBI Bank etc. available on payment site. Candidates are advised to choose their mode of payment that is Net banking or e-Challan while applying online.
