Haryana SSC Recruitment 2014 for 8293 Various Positions At The State Level Departments

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (earlier Subordinate Services Selection Board) is one of the vital entities of the state for competent recruitment of human resource since it was granted statutory status of Haryana Staff Selection Commission during 2005. The Commission conducts examinations/interviews for appointments to Group ‘C’ services and may be called up on to conduct examination/interview for appointment to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services if required by the state Government.

The Commission as a statutory organization constitutes framework for devising the mode of selection and fixed criteria thereof to posts as it may deem appropriate. Various departments in the state send requisitions to the Commission which are duly advertised in four newspapers, two Hindi and two English and on their website.

With the recent announcement, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has notified for recruitment of 8293 various posts in various departments of the state government.

The details of the requirements and the eligibility conditions of application are as mentioned underneath:

  • Last date for receipt of Applications:         19-Feb-2014 till 05:00 PM
  • Last date for payment of application fees: 21-Feb-2014

Details of Vacancies:

Cat. No. 1: 6783 posts of Clerks

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900 and other allowances
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 2: 297 posts of Steno-Typist (Hindi)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900 and Special Pay of Rs.100 along with other allowances
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have Hindi Shorthand speed of 64 words per minute with transcription speed of 11 words per minute (maximum mistake 8%) along with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 3: 349 posts of Steno-Typist (English)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900 and Special Pay of Rs.100 along with other allowances.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have English Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute with transcription speed of 15 words per minute (maximum mistake 8%) along with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 4: 311 posts of Steno-Typist (Both Hindi & English Languages)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900 and Special Pay of Rs.100 along with other allowances.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have Hindi Shorthand speed of 64 words per minute with transcription speed of 11 words per minute & English Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute with transcription speed of 15 words per minute (maximum mistake 8%). Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.

Cat. No. 5: 23 posts of Junior Scale Stenographer (English)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 along with other allowances.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have English Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute with transcription speed of 20 words per minute (maximum mistake 8%) along with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 6: 12 posts of Junior Scale Stenographer (Hindi)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 along with other allowances.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have Hindi Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute with transcription speed of 15 words per minute (maximum mistake 8%) along with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 7: 85 posts of Junior Scale Stenographer (Both English/Hindi Languages)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 along with other allowances.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have Hindi Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute with transcription speed of 15 words per minute & English Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute with transcription speed of 20 words per minute (maximum mistake 8%). Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.

Cat. No. 8: 13 posts of Senior Scale Stenographer (English)

  • Pay band: Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.3200 along with other allowances in PB-II.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have English Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute with transcription speed of 20 words per minute (maximum mistake 4%) along with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 9: 02 posts of Senior Scale Stenographer (Hindi)

  • Pay band: Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.3200 along with other allowances in PB-II.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have Hindi Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute with transcription speed of 15 words per minute (maximum mistake 4%) along with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.

Cat. No. 10: 54 posts of Junior Scale Stenographer (Both English/Hindi Languages)

  • Pay band: Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.3200 along with other allowances in PB-II.
  • Qualification: Graduation/ 10+2 (with 1st Division)/ 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent. Must have Hindi Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute with transcription speed of 15 words per minute & English Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute with transcription speed of 20 words per minute (maximum mistake 4%). Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation level.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 11: 379 posts of Drivers (Light Transport Vehicle)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 along with special pay as admissible in respective Department/ Board/ Corporation.
  • Qualification: Must have completed Middle English/ Matriculation standard. Must have a valid Light Transport Vehicle Driving License with 2/3/5 years of experience of driving. Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 12: 341 posts of Drivers (Heavy Transport Vehicle)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 along with special pay as admissible in respective Department/ Board/ Corporation.
  • Qualification: Must have completed Middle English/ Matriculation standard. Must have a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License with 2/3/5 years of experience of driving. Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 13: 13 posts of Tractor Drivers (in Urban Local Bodies)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400.
  • Qualification: Must have a valid Middle/ Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License with experience of driving. Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 18-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 14: 04 posts of Tractor Drivers (in Horticulture Department)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400.
  • Qualification: Must have passed Middle English Standard. Must have a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle/ Tractor Driving License with 3 years of experience of driving. Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to middle standard.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 17-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

Cat. No. 15: 06 posts of Drivers (in Rajya Sainik Board)

  • Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 along with Special Pay.
  • Qualification: Must have passed Middle English Standard with Hindi or equivalent. Should be an Ex-Serviceman from driver trade below the rank of Junior Commissioned Officer who should have passed Class-I driving test in the services and should hold a Civil Driving License. Should have adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to middle standard.
  • Age Specification: The applicant must be within 25-50 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit

NOTE:

  • For category No. 1 to 10 the selected candidates shall have to qualify the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) within the probation period of two years as per Govt. instructions.

Mode of Application:           Through Prescribed format of Application

Application fees:

  • The General category (from Haryana):
    • For Posts under category 8 to 10: Rs.150 (Rs.75 for females of Haryana only)
    • For Posts under category 1 to 7 & 11 to 15: Rs.100 (Rs.50 for females of Haryana only)
  • All other categories (SC/BC/SBC/EBPG):
    • For Posts under category 8 to 10: Rs.35 (Rs.18 for females of Haryana only)
    • For Posts under category 1 to 7 & 11 to 15: Rs.25 (Rs.13 for females of Haryana only)
  • The PWD and Ex-SM candidates who belong to Haryana State are exempted from fee payment
  • The fee can be deposited through online generated Fee challan in any branch of State Bank of Patiala within the date as mentioned in Fee Challan.
  • No other form of fee payment will be accepted for these posts.

Selection Procedure:

  • Selection will be done by through the Main Written Exam followed by a Group Discussion/ Personal Interview as per the discretion of the Haryana SSC

  • The candidates have to apply through the prescribed application form, which can be downloaded from the Commission’s website at www.hssc.gov.in or www.onlinehssc.in
  • The applicants need to consider their competency as per the data available with this advertisement at //www.onlinehssc.in/Advertisements/Advt-1-2014.pdf,  before applying
  • Candidates are further directed to mention their sub category of Physically Handicapped otherwise their application form will not be entertained
  • The applicant must not send any document to SSC at this moment.
  • The Printed copy of the application form with original certificates and photocopy will be brought by the candidate at the time of interview/verification along with Photo, Identity Proof i.e. Identity Card/Driving License/ Passport/Voter Card/Pan Card etc.
