Haryana Staff Selection Commission (earlier Subordinate Services Selection Board) is constituted as per the constitution of India, with the Haryana Government, through it was granted statutory status of Haryana Staff Selection Commission during 2005. The Commission conducts examinations/interviews for appointments to Group ‘C’ services and may be called up on to conduct examination/interview for appointment to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services if required by the state Government. The Commission devices the mode of selection and fixed criteria for selection to posts as if may deem appropriate departments send requisitions to the Commission which are duly advertised in four newspapers, two Hindi and two English and port on the website.
With the recent announcement, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has notified for recruitment of various posts in the state government.

Cat. No. 1: 13 posts of Insect Collector, under Director Health Services (Malaria) Haryana
- Pay band: Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 and other allowances
- Qualification: Matric with Science, Physics and Chemistry and should have Knowledge of Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

Cat. No. 2: 3 posts of Dispenser (Ayurvedic), under Director ESI, Health Care Haryana
- Pay band: Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.3200 and other allowances
- Qualification: Up-Vaidya from any recognized University with Matric and Knowledge of Hindi / Engklish upto Matric standard. Or, Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy with 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology

- Qualification: BSc (Honors) Nursing, BSc (Post basic) Nursing Or, Diploma in Nursing with 5 years of experience as Nursing Sister or 10 years experience as Staff Nurse. Should have registered with Haryana Nursing council and should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to matric level

- Qualification: 1st Class Bachelors Degree and NTC/NAC with 70% and with CITC in Steno (English). Shorthand at a speed of 100 words per minute and 15 words per minute in transcriptions thereof and 40 words per minute in typing in English with knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to matric level. Must have O level in Computers

- Qualification: Regular BA with 60% or MA with BEd in Hindi Subjects. Must have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to matric level.

- Qualification: 10+2 with Diploma in Computer Science/ Comp Engineering/ Computer Application OR, Post Diploma in Computer Application/ Computer Engineering OR, ‘O level’ course from DOEACC. Data Punching speed of 8000 key depressions per hour with knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to matric level.

Application fees:
- The General category (from Haryana):
- For Posts under category 2 to 80, 86, and 88 to 121: Rs.150
- For Posts under category 1, 81 to 85 & 87: Rs.100
- All other categories (SC/BC/SBC/EBPG):
- For Posts under category 2 to 80, 86, and 88 to 121: Rs.35
- For Posts under category 1, 81 to 85 & 87: Rs.25
- The PWD candidates who belong to Haryana State are exempted from fee
- The fee can be deposited through a treasury Challan Fee in the Haryana Govt. Treasury under the Head “0051-H.P.S.C.-(103)-Staff Selection Commission, Haryana – Application fee and other receipts.”
- Candidates residing outside Haryana and Chandigarh can send the fee in the form of Indian Postal Orders which should be made payable to the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission at Panchkula.
- Fee sent in the form of Bank Draft or Money Order or
Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be done by through the Main Written Exam followed by a group discussion/ personal interview as per the discretion of the Haryana SSC
