Haryana SSC Recruitment 2015-16 For Induction of Constable (General Duty) For Both Male and Female, and Sub Inspector (Male) in Haryana Police Department
With the recent announcement, from Haryana Staff Selection Commission it is inviting candidates for induction as Constables in General Duty cadre, and Sub Inspector in the state Police. The details of the recruitment procedure and essential eligibility are as follows:

Details of the Posts & Vacancies:
- Constable (GD) – Male: Total 5000 Posts [General-1650, SC-1000, BCA-800, BCB-550, SBC-500, EBPG-500]
- Constable (GD) – Female: Total 1000 Posts [General-30, SC-200, BCA-160, BCB-110, SBC-100, EBPG-100]
- Constable (GD) – Male Ex-serviceman: Total 860 Posts [General-430 (80 Backlog), SC-123 (23 Backlog), BCA-123 (23 Backlog), BCB-184 (34 Backlog)]
- Constable (GD) – Female Ex-serviceman: Total 140 Posts [General-70, SC-20, BCA-20, BCB-30]
Sub Inspector (Male): Total 200 Posts [General-52, SC-36, BCA-28, BCB-16, SBC-20, EBPG-20, ESM General-14, ESM SC-04, ESM BCA-04, ESM BCB-06]
Domicile Requirement: Applicants, who are male and female and are domiciles any state of India are eligible to participate in the selection procedure. But the reservation will be granted to the candidates from Haryana state only.
Constable (GD)- The candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) examination or its equivalent from a Board or university recognized by the Central or State Government.
Sub Inspector- The candidates must be Graduate from a recognised university, and have Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard.
Age Specification: A candidate must be aged between 18 to 25 years for Constable (GD) Posts, and 21 to 27 years for Sub Inspector Posts to be eligible for this consideration. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC & Ex-servicemen in accordance with the Punjab Police rules.
Pay Provisions: The applicants gets selected as Constables (General Duty) will be receiving a monthly remuneration in the scale of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 with a grade Pay of Rs.2000/- along with other allowances and perks.
The applicants gets selected as Sub Inspector will be receiving a monthly remuneration in the scale of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with a grade Pay of Rs.4000/- along with other allowances and perks.
Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done abiding the following procedure:
- Physical Screening Test
- Knowledge Test
- Physical Measurement Test
- Interview cum Personality Test
Rs. 100/- for unreserved male candidates and female non resident of Haryana
Rs. 50/- for female resident of Haryana
Rs. 25/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG male candidates of Haryana State only
Rs. 13/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG female candidates of Haryana State only
Rs. 150/- for unreserved male candidates and female non resident of Haryana
Rs. 35/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG male candidates of Haryana State only
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through Net banking or e-Challan facility, while applying online.
Ex-serviceman of Haryana State are exempted from payment of application fee.
