Education Qualification:
Sub Inspector- The candidates must be Graduate from a recognised university, and have Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
*Candidates must have fulfill required physical standards.
Age Specification As on 01-June-2021: A candidate must be aged between 21 to 27 years for Sub Inspector Posts to be eligible for this consideration. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC & Ex-servicemen in accordance with the Punjab Police rules.
Pay Provisions: The applicants gets selected as Sub Inspector will be receiving a Pay Scale of Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- along with other allowances and perks [Pay Matrix Level- 6]
Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done abiding the following procedure:
Physical Screening Test, Knowledge Test, Physical Measurement Test, Interview cum Personality Test
Application Fees: Sub Inspector
Rs. 150/- for unreserved male candidates and female non resident of Haryana
Rs. 75/- for female resident of Haryana
Rs. 35/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG male candidates of Haryana State only
Rs. 18/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG female candidates of Haryana State only
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through Net banking or e-Challan facility, while applying online. Ex-serviceman of Haryana State are exempted from payment of application fee.

Haryana Police Force is one of the most organized security forces of the state and is being operated under the state banner. As one of the most responsible forces, the Haryana Police is responsible for various counter-insurgency operations, combating acts of terrorism, safe keeping of human lives, and operating as a special task force for other law and order situations as well as peace-keeping initiatives in the state. This is the most important force of the state operating under the Home Department and ensuring stability in the state as far as crime and trafficking is concerned.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Knowledge Test (80% weightage), Additional qualification:(10% weightage), Miscellaneous (10% weightage), Physical Screening Test (Qualifying), Physical Measurement Test (Qualifying).
The Knowledge Test shall be of the objective type having 100 multiple choice questions of 0.80 marks each and test shall be of 90 minutes duration.
The Knowledge Test paper shall include questions on General studies, General Science, Current affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, other relevant fields/trades, basic knowledge of computer etc.
The candidates who have qualified in Knowledge Test shall be put to a Physical Screening Test, which would be only qualifying in nature.
Only the candidates who have qualified the Physical Screening Test shall have to undergo Physical Measurement Test as per standards.
Physical Measurement and Fitness Test: Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be of qualifying nature only.
