Haldia Dock Complex, Kolkata Port Trust, invites applications from eligible ST category candidates for direct recruitment of one post of Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator, and one post of Junior Engineer (Grade-I).

Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator: Candidates must have passed madhyamik or equivalent examination. Candidates must possess a Certificate of training in Fire Fighting from a recognized Institution, and have valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence for at least five years. Candidates must be able to maintain log book and other relevant records, and have sufficient knowledge of operations and maintenance of different Fire Pumps, Equipment, Appliances and maneuvering of Foam Crash Tender.
Candidates must also have at least six years experience in Fire Fighting works, out of which at least 2 years experience in driving various Fire Appliances like Crash Tender & Jeep Fire Tender.
Junior Engineer (Grade-I): Candidates must have passed madhyamik or equivalent examination, and possesses L.C.E. Diploma. Candidates should have at least five years experience in Civil Engineering Works.
Upper Age Limit As on 01-May-2015:
Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator: 41 years
Junior Engineer: 40 years

Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator: Rs. 16,300-38,200/-
Junior Engineer: Rs. 23,600-56300/-
