Compensation Package:
- Grade-III (Senior Medical Officer): The selected candidates will receive emoluments in an IDA pay scale of Rs.20600 – Rs.46500 along with other perks and allowances.
- Grade-II (Medical Officer/ Fire Officer/ Engineer): The selected candidates will receive emoluments in an IDA pay scale of Rs.16400 – Rs.40500 along with other perks and allowances.
- Grade-I (Assistant Security Officer): The selected candidates will receive emoluments in an IDA pay scale of Rs.12600 – Rs.32500 along with other perks and allowances.
Educational Eligibility & Relevant Post-Qualification Experience:
- Senior Medical Officer (Radiology): The applicants must have possessed a Degree of MBBS with MD/DNB (Radiology) OR MBBS with DMRD. They must have at least 1 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-II) to become eligible.
- Senior Medical Officer (Medicine): The applicants must have possessed a Degree of MBBS with MD/DNB (Medicine). They must have at least 1 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-II) to become eligible.
- Senior Medical Officer (Industrial Health): The applicants must have possessed a Degree of MBBS with 2 years Diploma in Industrial Health. They must have at least 1 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-II) to become eligible.
- Senior Medical Officer (Anesthesia): The applicants must have possessed a Degree of MBBS with MD/DNB (Anesthesia). They must have at least 1 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-II) to become eligible.
- Senior Medical Officer (OB&G): The applicants must have possessed a Degree of MBBS with MD/MS/DNB (OB&G). They must have at least 1 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-II) to become eligible.
- Medical Officer (General Duty): The applicants must have possessed a Degree of MBBS. They must have at least 1 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-I) to become eligible.
- Fire Officer: The applicants must have possessed a Bachelor Degree of Fire Engineering from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, OR, Bachelor Degree of Fire Engineering/ Fire Technology, OR, must have passed in Associate Membership / Membership Examination of Institute of Fire Engineering, UK, OR, must have a Degree of recognized University with Pass in GIFE – India / UK. They must have at least 3 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-I) to become eligible.
- Engineer (Civil): The applicants must have possessed a Degree in Engineering/ Technology or its equivalent in Civil Engineering Discipline. They must have at least 2 year of experience in the next below grade (Grade-I) to become eligible.
- Assistant Security Officer: The applicants must have possessed Two years PG Degree (MSc) in Forensic Science & Criminology acquired after (10+2+3), OR, Two years PG Degree (MA) in Sociology/ Economics/ Psychology/ Public Administration/ Criminology/ Political Science/ Anthropology/ Human Rights/ Media Studies/ Social Policy/ Public Policy, acquired after Graduation (10+2+3), OR, Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years PG Degree / PG Diploma / MBA / MSW / MA (3 / 4 + 2 years after 10+2) with specialization in Human Resources / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Labor Management or equivalent. They must have at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in their eligibility qualification. Candidates successfully completed 10 months of Pre-Commission Training course from the Officers’ Training School, Madras or from any other equivalent Institution under the Defense Forces OR, similar qualifications with different durations of training program with State/ Central Police Service are also eligible to apply.
Age:
- Grade-III (Senior Medical Officer): The candidate must not have crossed 45 years as on the date of notification.
- Grade-II (Medical Officer/ Fire Officer/ Engineer): The candidate must not have crossed 35 years as on the date of notification.
- Grade-I (Assistant Security Officer): The candidate must not have crossed 35 years as on the date of notification.
- However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per HAL norms.
Medical Fitness:
- Applicants should be of sound health and should meet the medical standards prescribed by the Company.
- Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical report from the Company’s Doctor as per the Medical Standards of the Company.

- For Unreserved and other candidates: Rs.500
- The candidates can remit the fees through a crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank (preferably State Bank of India) in favor of ‘Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Aircraft Division’, and should be payable at Bangalore.

Mode of Selection:
- The selection will be through an Written Test and Personal Interview separate/ combined for different cadre of Positions.
- Candidates provisionally selected by HAL will have to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Exam before joining HAL.
- The selection will be done on a Merit Ranking basis.
