Hindustan Auronatics Limited Invites A Golden Opportunity To Join As A Management Trainee -2012

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, and a premier Aeronautical industry in the South-East Asian region. It has 20 Production and Service Divisions with 10 co-located Research & Design Centers spread across the nation. HAL’s expertise incorporates design & development, manufacturing, repairing, overhauling and up-gradation of Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, & structural components for Satellites & Launch Vehicles.

With a view to expand its service solutions for apex level operation in India, HAL invites applications from young, energetic & result oriented Graduate Engineers and Finance as well as HR Professionals for the post of Management Trainees for its various Production, Overhauling & Service Divisions/ R&D Centers as well as Offices, at various locations in India.

The details of the vacancies and the eligibility criteria for application are detailed as below:

Name of the Posts and Total Number of vacancies:

  • Management Trainee (Technical): 273 (SC-20, ST-41, OBC (NCL)-75, PWD-8)
  • Management Trainee (Integrated Materials Management): 25 (SC-2, ST-3, OBC(NCL)-7, PWD-1)
  • Management Trainee (Finance): 20 (SC-1, ST-3, OBC(NCL)-6, PWD-1)
  • Management Trainee (Human Resources): 25 (SC-2, ST-3, OBC (NCL)-7, PWD-1)

OBC (NCL) – Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer)

Placement and Compensation Package:

  • Selected candidates would be posted as Management Trainees in any Divisions/ R&D Centers/ Offices, based on the requirements of the Company.
  • They will undergo a mandatory training program for 52 weeks comprising of various training modules including theoretical & on-the-job training at various places.
  • During the training period, the Trainees will be entitled to a Stipend comprising of Basic Pay, Variable DA & Canteen Allowance with bachelor accommodation or House Rent Allowance. The approximate Cost to Company (CTC) per annum during training is Rs.4 to Rs.4.5 lakhs.
  • On successful completion of the training, the Trainees would be absorbed as Engineers/ Officers with a Basic Pay of Rs.16400 in the Grade-II Scale of Pay of Rs.16400-Rs.40500 along with admissible Variable DA and other Perks & Allowance. The approximate CTC will be around Rs.6-6.5 lakhs

SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND:

Selected candidates will have to execute a Service Agreement Bond to serve HAL for a period of 5 years (excluding the training period). In case of breach of the Service Agreement the candidates will be liable to pay Rs.500000 as compensation to HAL.

Essential Academic Norms:

a)   Management Trainee (Technical):

  • The applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in the Branches of Aeronautical/ Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Production Engineering. AMIE courses by Institute of Engineers (India) are also eligible for consideration.
  • General/ OBC candidates should have secured a minimum of 65% marks and SC/ST candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% Marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/ Years or corresponding CGPA Ratings.
  • Engineering Graduates in the Aeronautical Branch with minimum aggregate 60% marks (for General/ OBC) and 50% marks (for SC/ ST) would be eligible to apply.

b)   Management Trainee (Integrated Materials Management):

  • The applicants must have secured Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in the Branches of Electrical/ Mechanical/ Production Engineering. AMIE courses by Institute of Engineers (India) are also eligible for consideration.
  • General/ OBC candidates should have secured a minimum of 65% marks and SC/ST candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% Marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/ Years or corresponding CGPA Ratings.

c)   Management Trainee (Finance):

  • The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a pass in final examination of CA/ ICWA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

d)   Management Trainee (Human Resources):

  • The applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years Full Time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma/ MBA/ MSW/ MA with specialization in Human Resources/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations and with at least 60% marks (for General/OBC) or 55% marks (for SC/ST)

NOTE: Part Time / Correspondence / Distance Learning courses are not eligible

Age:

  • The candidate must not have crossed 28 years as on 1st of October 2012
  • However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules

Important Dates:

  • Opening date for receipt of Online Application: 3rd of October 2012 from 12:00 hours onwards
  • Closing date for receipt of Online Application: 19th of October 2012 till 12:00 hours
  • Last date for payment of Application Fee (through Pay-in-slip): 18th of October 2012

Application fees:

  • For Unreserved profile candidates: Rs.400
  • For SC/ ST/ OBC candidates: Fee exempted

How to pay the fees:

  • The fees can be paid through all core banking branches of State Bank of India (SBI) in the Account No.: 30969511830, in favor of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited – Recruitment Account
  • No other mode of payment will be accepted

How to Apply:

  • Interested candidates can apply through online mode only at the website of HAL (www.hal-india.com).
  • The candidates need to scan their recent passport size photographs as well as their running signature so as to upload that during the time of online registration.
  • All candidates are advised to complete their online application through authentic and factual information only. Any discrepancy over the submitted application form may subject to disqualification of candidature.

Mode of Selection:

  • The selection will be through an Objective Type Online Test
  • The Online Test will be conducted at the designated test centers of HAL
  • The candidate has to download his Admit card from HAL website only. Admit cards will not be sent either by post or by e-mail.
  • Candidates provisionally selected by HAL will have to undergo a pre-employment Medical Exam before joining HAL

  • HAL reserves the right to change the numbers of vacancies as per its requirement
  • No personification will be entertained and strict disciplinary action will be taken for anyone found guilty of misconduct
  • The decision of HAL will be final and binding on the candidates
  • Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Bangalore only
