Minimum Qualification Required:
Professor: Candidate must be a scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with Ph.D degree with 55% at Master’s Degree in relevant discipline; and 10 years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which three years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.
Associate Professor: Candidate must possess Ph. D. Degree with 55% at Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with eight years of experience of Teaching/ Industry/ Research out of which three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent excluding the period exclusively spent for obtaining the Research Degree is required. The candidates should have also made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality publication, contribution to educational innovation, design of new course curricula.
Assistant Professor: Candidate must possess Good Academic record with a first class at Masters degree level or an equilent grade in the relevant discipline from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a forein University.
Pay Scale:
Professor: PB-4, Rs. 37, 400-67,000/- with AGP of Rs. 10,000/-
Associate Professor: PB-4, Rs. 37, 400-67,000/- with AGP of Rs. 6,700/-
Assistant Professor: PB-3, Rs. 15, 600-39,100/- with AGP of Rs. 6,000/-
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on the Test/ Interview.
Application Fee: Rs. 500/-
SC/ST/ PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
