High Court of Gujarat invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the posts of Private Secretary on the establishment of High Court of Gujarat.
Private Secretary: 27 vacancies
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be Graduate. Candidates should have Speed of 120 words per minute in English Short Hand. Candidates must have Knowledge of Computer Operation. Candidates must possess a certificate regarding basic knowledge of computer as prescribed by the State Government.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 15-July-2021. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:Pay Matrix of Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400/- plus usual allowance as per the rules

Rs. 500/- plus Bank charges for Candidates belong to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Differently Abled Persons (PH), ExServicemen and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
Rs. 1000/- plus Bank charges for All other candidates
Applicants are suggested to remit the fee through Online Payment or Cash Challan (Offline) (Cash Challan will be generated Online at SBI ePay Website only).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Stenography Test/ Skill Test, and Personal Interview.
The Preliminary Test would be of 100 Marks of 2 Hours Duration. There shall be Negative Marking. The Candidates shall have to secure minimum 50 % in the Preliminary Test and only those qualifying therein, shall be allowed to appear for Stenography/Skill Test.
Syllabus for Preliminary Test : General Knowledge, English Language, Gujarati Language, Current Affairs, Numerical & Mental Ability and Computer Fundamentals/Operation etc.
The Stenography/Skill Test for Speed of 120 words per minute in English Short Hand/Stenography, would be of 60 Marks. [Duration: 8 Minutes (Dictation- 2 Paragraphs, each of 4 Minutes)] with Transcription time of 50 minutes. Candidate shall have to secure minimum 60% Marks in Stenography/Skill Test.
Vivavoce Test shall be of 40 Marks. The Candidates shall have to secure minimum 40% Marks in the Vivavoce Test.
Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of Aggregate Marks obtained by the Candidates in the Stenography/Skill Test & Vivavoce Test.
