The Goa Public Service Commission is the body, which advises the Government on all matters relating to State Civil Services. With its present notification, Goa Public Service Commission is inviting applications for various positions under the state government of Goa.

Details of the vacancies:
I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE
Lecturer in Radiology – 02 Posts
- Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 and a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 in PB-III
- Educational – A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant should have a Post-graduate degree in the Speciality Concerned.
- Experience – Must have at least 03 years teaching and/ or research experience in the concerned specialty as a Senior Resident/Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable
- Age- The applicant should not exceed maximum age of 45 years
Assistant Lecturer in Casualty – 01 Post
- Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 and a Grade Pay of Rs.5400 in PB-III
- Educational – A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant should have Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable
- Age- The applicant should not exceed maximum age of 42 years
Assistant Head Occupational Therapist in Orthopaedic Surgery – 01 Post
- Pay Scale – Rs.9300-Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in PB-II
- Educational – Degree or Diploma in Occupational therapy.
- Experience – 3 years practical experience in case of Degree holders, and 6 years practical experience in case of Diploma holders in Occupational Therapy in a recognized Institution/Hospital.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable
- Age- The applicant should not exceed maximum age of 42 years
II. DIRECTORATE OF ARCHIVES & ARCHAEOLOGY
Scientific Officer (Preservation) – 01 Post
- Pay Scale – Rs.9300-Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in PB-II
- Educational – Must have a Second Class Master’s degree in Chemistry or Physics. Training in modern methods of rehabilitation & preservation of records and Research on paper ink, leather, examination of documents, use of insecticides and fumigants; practical experience & training in high class binding work is desirable. Experience in repair and / or preservation of records in a Government Records Office is also desirable for this post.
- Experience – 3 years practical experience in research or teaching or work in a Govt. Records Office.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable
- Age- The applicant should not exceed maximum age of 42 years
III. ELECTRICITY DEPARTMENT
Executive Engineer (Electrical) – 07 Posts (UR-05, OBC-01, PH-01)
- Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 and a Grade Pay of Rs.6600 in PB-II
- Educational – Must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience – Eight years experience as Electrical Engineer in a responsible post.
- Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable
- Age- The applicant should not exceed maximum age of 42 years
NOTE: There will be relaxation for upper age as per rules.

- No other format of application fees will however be accepted.

b) Candidates must complete the application form in all respect, attach that with their photograph and other competency credentials, sign the form and send that to the Goa PSC at the address mentioned below so as to reach the office by the last date for receipt of application (i.e. 01-August-2013)
Selection Note:
- In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani, for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, this requirement can be relaxed.
