In India, there is a huge craze for the Services Selection Board (SSB), which is an exam for interviewing the personality and intelligence. The SSB exam is carried out for 5 consecutive days. In this exam, a scientific analysis for testing the potential of a candidate is carried out for getting admission into the commission level of Armed Forces of India. Some of the most important qualities considered for the procedure for selection in SSB exam include the ability to judge under the situation of stress, the potential for organization and reasoning, the skills of communication, courage, determination, ability of making decisions, self-confidence, intelligence, strong determination, compassion, as well as the willingness to make an example for others and many more.
The Procedure for Selecting the Candidates:
The candidates have to qualify in the written exam carried out by the Union Public Service Commission or in the Board for preliminary interview. Candidates who have been shortlisted directly through different call letters can appear for SSB exam. This is applicable not only in the case of civilians, but also for the other serving candidates already engaged in the Armed forces.
Exams in Different Days:
After the day of reporting, the first day is the day of screening tests, the second is the day of psychology tests, the third and the fourth are the days of GTO tasks, while the fifth day is for conference.
Few Things to Be Noted in Relation to the Exam:
The candidates who appear for the first time are offered messing and accommodation free during the course of the entire stay while appearing the selection procedure. The candidates might also have to go to different places and military medical establishments in order to appear for the medical tests.
