Gauhati High Court, Guwahati invites application from eligible permanent resident of the state of Assam, for the posts of Stenographers Grade III and Stenographers Grade II for the district’s courts of Assam.

Pay Scale:
Stenographers Grade III: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500+ GP Rs. 7,400/- plus other allowances
Stenographer Grade-II: Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 97,000+ GP Rs. 9,700/- plus other allowances
Educational Qualification:
Stenographer Grade-III: Candidates must passed the HS or Class 12th examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ University. The candidate should possess a Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/ Shorthand may also apply.
Stenographer Grade-II: Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree from a recognized University. The candidate should possess a Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/ Shorthand may also apply.
Candidates must have adequate knowledge of official language of Assam State.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 year as on last date for receipt of application. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Stenography Test, Written Examination and Viva voce/ Interview.

For General/ OBC/ MOBC category candidates: Rs. 300/-
For SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates: Rs. 150/-
