High Court of Gauhati as the supreme authority is responsible for safekeeping of law in the State level for the state of Assam. With the present notification, The High Court of Gauhati invites Online Applications for various positions of Lower Division Clerk-cum-Computer Operators, Upper Division Clerks, Sheristadar, Stenographer (Gd.-II), Peshkar, Driver, Process Server, Office Peon-I and Office Peon-II profiles in sub-ordinate courts of Arunanchal Pradesh under the jurisdiction of Gauhati High Court through competent recruitment norms.

Pay band for the proposed Positions and period of Contract:
The candidates who will be selected for the job positions will receive remuneration in appropriate cadre as per the regulations of High Court of Gauhati as per the details mentioned below:
- Sheristadar: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200
- Stenographer (Grade-II): Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200
- Upper Division Clerks: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800
- Peshkar: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800
- Lower Division Clerk-cum-Computer Operators: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900
- Driver: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900
- Process Server: Rs.4440 – Rs.7440 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800
- Office Peon-I: Rs.4440 – Rs.7440 with Grade Pay of Rs.1300

Minimum Essential Requirements of Eligibility:
The candidates applying for the job position must have the following qualification to be eligible to apply:
- Sheristadar: The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Computer Operation. Candidates having BCom with Tally, MCom with Tally, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Comp.Sc.), MSc (IT), MSc (Comp. Sc.) and LLB/LLM would be given 5 extra points during selection.
- Stenographer (Grade-II): The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary or Equivalent and must possess a Diploma/ ITI Certificate in Stenography.
- Upper Division Clerks: The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Computer Operation. Candidates having BCom with Tally, MCom with Tally, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Comp.Sc.), MSc (IT), MSc (Comp. Sc.) and LLB/LLM would be given 5 extra points during selection.
- Peshkar: The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Computer Operation. Candidates having BCom with Tally, MCom with Tally, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Comp.Sc.), MSc (IT), MSc (Comp. Sc.) and LLB/LLM would be given 5 extra points during selection.
- Lower Division Clerk-cum-Computer Operators: The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Computer Operation. Candidates having BCom with Tally, MCom with Tally, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Comp.Sc.), MSc (IT), MSc (Comp. Sc.) and LLB/LLM would be given 5 extra points during selection.
- Driver: The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary or Equivalent and must possess a Valid driving License.
- Process Server: The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary or Equivalent
- Office Peon-I: The applicant must have passed High School Level Certificate or Equivalent
- Office Peon-II: The applicant must have passed High School Level Certificate or Equivalent
Age criteria:
- The candidates applying for the positions must have attained a minimum age of 18 years and should not have exceeded the max age of 38 years as on the date of advertisement.
- However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules only for APST, SC, ST and PWD candidates
Selection Procedure:
- For making selection, competence would be judged on the basis of the Written Examination (on OMR Sheet), Skill Test, Stenography (Typing and Shorthand) Test and interview only.

- The fee payment challan can also be downloaded from the website of Gauhati High Court, at //www.ghconline.gov.in and use the same for paying application fees at the designated SBI Powerjyoti A/c No-32512284007. The copy of fee payment receipt should be retained with the client. The candidates are requested to fill the Challan in Capital Letters only

- The candidates are advised to fill in authentic details carefully during the Online submission of applications
- The completely submitted application form and original fee payment challan should be retained with the candidates in hard copy form for use during Interview process
- The candidates should retain their Unique registration number for future reference purpose
- The applications completed in all respect and attached with the photograph and fee payment challan should be enclosed in an envelope and super-scribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF …………………………………” in bold and capital letters.
- There is no need to send any photocopy of certificates at this stage
- If an applicant desires to apply for more than one post, he/she can apply separately with separate fees for each post.
