Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is one of the most coveted examinations conducted for Engineering Graduates to assess their skill and competency in respective branches of studies. Every year this examination is conducted by the principals of Engineering Academics – the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and 7 major Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). This examination is considered as a milestone for any Engineering Graduate and every Engineer looks forward to this examination to assess his skill and competency in his academic career.
For the year 2014, the GATE notification has been announced by the supreme authorities. The joint Coordination Committee of seven IITs and IISc have selected the IIT-Kharagpur as nodal agency for conduction of GATE for the year 2014. IIT-Kharagpur will be the end-to-end agency as the Organizing Institute for GATE-2014.

GATE 2014 results will be announced on March 28, 2014 (Friday) at 10:00 hrs and will be available on the GATE Online Applicant Website.
GATE 2014 score is valid for Two Years from the date of announcement of the results.
GATE 2014 results may be made available on payment basis to interested organizations (educational institutions, R & D laboratories, industries, etc.) in India and abroad based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IIT Bombay and the requesting organization.
