With the present requirement from the Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) under ministry of Labour and Employment Government of India, it has published an advertisement to induct Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade – II (Allopathic) in ESIC Hospitals/ Dispensaries. The selected candidates are likely to be posted anywhere in India with All India Service Liability (AISL). Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a self financing scheme for worker in India. It looks after their health insurance and social security. Though ESI Act was introduced in 1948, it came into action from 1952. Pay Scale: The eligible candidates, who are selected for Insurance Medical Officer (IMO), will be eligible for running Pay Scale of Rs. 15600-39100/- and Grade Pay of Rs.5400. Other allowances and facilities will be offered as per rules of the ESIC.
Essential eligibility Conditions:
Age: The candidates applying for these posts must not have attained more than 30 years of age as on 10-November-2015. However, the relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per the rules only for the SC, ST, OBC, PWD and Ex-Sm candidates.
Academics: The applicants must possess recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Candidates should have completed Compulsory rotating internship (Note: Candidates who have not completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, if selected, they shall satisfactorily complete the compulsory rotating internship before appointment).
Candidates must have registered with the Medical Council of India.
Application Fees:
For SC, ST, PWD, Female, Ex-SM and Ex-ESIC employees: Fees exempted
For All others: Rs.300/-
Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee by generation of challan through online application. Candidate shall have to take the print out of challan generated online after filling application and deposit the requisite fee in any branch of State Bank of India through system generated SBI Challan.
Selection Procedure: The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Examination followed by interview. The written examination will be conducted in two stages as – Objective Type Multiple Choice questions of 200 marks, and Descriptive Test in Official Language of 100 marks; followed by interview of 50 marks.
