Election Commission Recruitment 2013 For Various Posts Under IT Division On Contract Basis

India is a Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic and the largest democracy in the World. The modern Indian envisages free and fair elections at regular intervals as per the principles enshrined in the Constitution, Electoral Laws and System. The Constitution of India has vested in the Election Commission of India the superintendence, direction and control of the entire process for conduct of elections to Parliament and Legislature of every State and to the offices of President and Vice-President of India. Election Commission of India is a permanent Constitutional Body and was established in accordance with the Constitution.
The Commission holds periodical consultations with the political parties on matters connected with the conduct of elections, compliance of Model Code of Conduct and new measures proposed to be introduced by the Commission on election related matters.
With the recent announcement from the Election Commission, there are several posts vacant in the IT division of the commission, which will be filled through competent recruitment norms. These posts will be filled on a Contract basis till 30-June-2014.

Details of Job Positions with fixed Salary/ Remuneration:
- Project Manager (Salary Rs.59000 per month): 02 positions
- Project Manager (Salary Rs.41000 per month): 02 positions
- Database Administrator (Salary Rs.41000 per month): 02 positions
- Computer Programmer (Salary Rs.32000 per month): 06 positions
Educational Eligibility/ Experience:
- Project Manager (Salary Rs.59000 per month): The candidates interested to join these services must have completed BE (E&C, CS, CE) / MCA/ ME / M.Tech (CS, CST, CE) with knowledge of Software Engineering over a complete cycle, DBMS, Networking, and Network Security. Project management Certification is desirable for these posts. The candidates must have Minimum 8 years experience for Graduates and 6 years experience for Technical Post-Graduates degree holders.
- Project Manager (Salary Rs.41000 per month): The candidates interested to join these services must have completed BE (E&C, CS, CE) / MCA/ ME / M.Tech (CS, CST, CE) with knowledge of Software Engineering over a complete cycle, DBMS, Networking, and Network Security. PMP Certification is desirable for these posts. The candidates must have Minimum 6 years experience for Graduates and 4 years experience for Technical Post-Graduates degree holders.
- Database Administrator (Salary Rs.41000 per month): The candidates interested to join these services must have completed BE (E&C, CS, CE) / MCA/ ME / M.Tech (CS, CST, CE) with knowledge of Software Engineering over a complete cycle, DBMS, Networking, and Network Security. DBA Certification is desirable for these posts. The candidates must have Minimum 4 years experience for Graduates and 3 years experience for Technical Post-Graduates degree holders.
- Computer Programmer (Salary Rs.32000 per month): The candidates interested to join these services must have completed BTech (IT)/ BTech (CS) / MCA or equivalent with 1 year experience in the relevant field. The applicants should have good knowledge of programming language such as ASP/ VB/ .net/ C#/ Java/ J2EE/ .net programming in Visual Studio/ Oracle/ SQL/ My SQL/ Post-Graduate databases.
Age Specification:
- Project Manager: The applicant must not have attained 40 years of age as on the date of walk-in.
- Database Administrator: The applicant must not have attained 40 years of age as on the date of walk-in.
- Computer Programmer: The applicant must be in between 18-30 years of age as on the date of walk-in.
Stages of Examination & Selection:
The selection will be done on the basis of Walk-In Interview/ Written Tests as per the discretion of the Commission. The final selection will be done on the basis of interview. The candidates should be prepared to stay at the venue for the whole day till the selection procedure is over.
How to appear:
- The candidates should attend the venue on the said data at desired time (10-Nov-2013 at 09:00 AM)
- Late-comers will not be allowed to appear the walk-in
- The candidates should reach the venue with attested copies of requisite qualification and experience certificates along with original documents and photographs.
