EIL Recruitment 2014 for management Trainee (Engineering and HR)

Established in the year 1965, Engineers India Ltd is one of the premier engineering service solution providers in India providing contractual civil erection service to Petroleum Refineries, Pipelining, Fertilizers, Metallurgy and other industrial establishments. The EIL is operating under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

With the recent advertisement from the EIL, there are a few positions of management positions in the Engineering, Finance & Accounts, Legal and HR disciplines, which are intended to be filled up on merit selection.

The details of the recruitment and modus operandi for selection are as follows:

Important Dates:

  • Date of publication of notification: 23-July-2014
  • Starting date of acceptance of Online Application Form: 23-July-2014 from 0000 Hours
  • Closing date of acceptance of Online Application Form:    25-Aug-2014 up to 2400 Hours

Details of Vacancies:          Total Post: 10 positions (tentative)

  • CODE-14-15/02/A: Sr. Engineer/ Dy. Manager/ Manager  (Offshore Pipelines-Engineering): 02 vacancies
  • CODE-14-15/02/B: Sr. Engineer/ Dy. Manager (Construction-Safety): 02 vacancies
  • CODE-14-15/02/C: Dy. Manager (Finance & Accounts): 02 vacancies
  • CODE-14-15/02/D: Dy. Manager  (Human Resource): 02 vacancies
  • CODE-14-15/02/E: Officer/ Sr. Officer/ Dy. Manager (Legal): 02 vacancies

Pay Provisions, Perks and Remunerations:

  • Officer: The selected candidates as Officers will be entitled to receive emolument in the scale of Rs.24900 – Rs.50500 in IDA Patter with an annual CTC of approximately Rs.11.35 Lakhs.
  • Sr. Officer / Sr. Engineer: The selected candidates as Sr. Officer/ Sr. Engineer will be entitled to receive emolument in the scale of Rs.29100 – Rs.54500 in IDA Patter with an annual CTC of approximately Rs.13.41 Lakhs.
  • Dy. Manager: The selected candidates as Dy. Manager will be entitled to receive emolument in the scale of Rs.32900 – Rs.58000 in IDA Patter with an annual CTC of approximately Rs.15.08 Lakhs.
  • Manager: The selected candidates as Dy. Manager will be entitled to receive emolument in the scale of Rs.36600 – Rs.62000 in IDA Patter with an annual CTC of approximately Rs.16.97 Lakhs.
  • The candidates will get other facilities such as TA, DA, HRA, Medical facilities, retirement and other benefits.

Minimum Norms for Eligibility:

AGE:

  • Officer: The candidates should not have reached more than 30 years as on 01-July-2014.
  • Sr. Officer / Sr. Engineer: The candidates should not have reached more than 35 years as on 01-July-2014.
  • Dy. Manager: The candidates should not have reached more than 40 years as on 01-July-2014.
  • Manager: The candidates should not have reached more than 45 years as on 01-July-2014.

However, the upper age limit for privileged class will be relaxed as per the norms of the government for specific categories of recruitment.

Academics (as on 01-July-2014):

  • CODE-14-15/02/A: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical discipline (with min. 65% marks or equivalent CGPA/ CPI)
  • CODE-14-15/02/B: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in any discipline or B.Arch. (with min. 65% marks or equivalent CGPA/ CPI)  and must have Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety (with at least one paper in Construction Safety)
  • CODE-14-15/02/C: The candidates must have completed Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant (with min. 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ CPI) 
  • CODE-14-15/02/D: The candidates must have completed Full time MBA (Specialization in HR/PM)/ MSW/ Equivalent PG Degree / PG Diploma in HR / PM&IR / Labor Welfare with minimum of 65% of marks or an equivalent CGPA/ CPI.
  • CODE-14-15/02/E: The candidates must have completed Full Time Degree in Law (with min. 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ CPI)

Experience (as on 01-July-2014):

  • Officer: The candidates should have at least 1 year of Post-Qualification experience in related disciplines/ areas.
  • Sr. Officer / Sr. Engineer: The candidates should have at least 4 years of Post-Qualification experience in related disciplines/ areas.
  • Dy. Manager: The candidates should have at least 8 years of Post-Qualification experience in related disciplines/ areas.
  • Manager: The candidates should have at least 12 years of Post-Qualification experience in related disciplines/ areas.

Selection Procedure:

  • The selection methodology will comprise of Interview only. The candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their career credentials to appear for interview.

  • The candidate must fill in all respective spaces of information as required on the Application Form
  • The candidates should upload their running signature and recent passport size photograph in the dedicated space on the Online Application Form.
  • The candidates are requested to exercise thorough scrutiny of the application prior to final upload.

  • The email ID provided during the online registration must be kept active. The correspondence with respect to skill test, personal interview and the results might be intimated to the candidates through their email ID
  • Candidates are advised to retain one copy of the filled in Online application form for future reference
  • Management of EIL reserves the right to raise the eligibility criteria, alter it or cancel the complete recruitment process without assigning any reason thereof.
