Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited invites applications from eligible male candidates for recruitment of Mining Sirdar Posts in West Bengal and Jharkhand state.
Mining Sirdar (Tech. & Suvr. Grade C)- 117 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test ( General Awareness and matters related to the concern subject). Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for initial medical examination.

Qualification:
Mining Sirdar- Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized Board. Candidates should have Sirdar’s competency Certificate issued from DGMS; OR Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering having valid statutory competency certificates, recognised by DGMS to work as Mining Sirdar in coal mines.
Candidates should also have Valid First Aid Certificate, and Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
Age Limit As on 01-Feb-2018: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years for OBC category (Non-creamy layer) candidates (40 years for SC/ST Candidates). Relaxation in upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST /OBC/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules.
Pay Scale & Remunerations:
candidates selected for these positions will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs. 31852.56 per month for Mining Sirdar Post along with other allowances as per National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA)-X. Other allowances and perks will be applicable as per rules of Central Coal Fields Limited.
Processing Fee: Rs. 300/-
Applicants belonging to General and OBC category are suggested to deposit the examination fee in the Power Jyoti A/C No. 35228997799 of State Bank of India (Sanctoria branch, code 06114) by candidates belonging OBC (NCL) category. SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.
