With its recent advertisement, Office of the District and Sessions Court, Karimnagar is inviting adequately qualified and experienced individuals for various positions of Junior Assistant, Stenographer (Grade-III), Typist, Examiner, Copyist and Field Assistants to be recruited under the AP Judicial Ministerial Service in the Unit of District and Sessions Judge, Karimnagar.
All interested candidates having adequate qualification and experience can apply through the prescribed application format and send their candidature through proper format.

- Stenographer (Grade-III): 09 Posts [OC-02 (Women-01), OC-PH-01, BC-A-01 (Women), BC-B-01, SC-02, ST-02 (Women-01)]
- Typist: 16 Posts [OC-08 (Women-03), OC-PH-01, OC-Ex-SM-01, BC-A-01, BC-B-01, BC-D-01, SC-02, ST-01]
- Examiner: 07 Posts [OC-03 (Women-01), BC-A-01 (Women), BC-E-01, BC-D-01, SC-01]
- Copyist: 15 Posts [OC-08 (Women-03), BC-A-01, BC-C-01, BC-E-01, SC-02, ST-02]
- Field Assistant: 09 Posts [OC-04 (Women-02), OC-PH-01, BC-A-01, BC-B-01, ST-02]
- There will be reservation for Women, Ex-Servicemen and PWD as per rules. Out of these posts some posts are awaiting Supreme Court verdict on Employment.
Scale of Pay:
- Junior Assistant: The selected candidates will receive a Pay Band-I in the range of Rs.8440 – Rs.24950
- Stenographer (Grade-III): The selected candidates will receive a Pay Band-I in the range of Rs.10900 – Rs.31550
- Typist: The selected candidates will receive a Pay Band-I in the range of Rs.8440 – Rs.24950
- Examiner: The selected candidates will receive a Pay Band-I in the range of Rs.7960 – Rs.23650
- Copyist: The selected candidates will receive a Pay Band-I in the range of Rs.7960 – Rs.23650
- Field Assistant: The selected candidates will receive a Pay Band-I in the range of Rs.8440 – Rs.24950
- Other allowances will be as applicable as per APJMS Rules, 2003
Minimum Academics:
- Junior Assistant: The interested candidates must have completed Intermediate Education from a recognized AP State Board or equivalent and must have knowledge of Computer operation.
- Stenographer (Grade-III): The interested candidates must have passed Intermediate Education from a recognized AP State Board or equivalent. The candidate must have passed AP Govt. Technical Examination in English Typewriting and Shorthand by Higher Grade or equivalent. The applicant must have knowledge of Computer Operation.
- Typist/ Copyist: The interested candidates must have passed Intermediate Education from a recognized AP State Board or equivalent. The candidate must have passed AP Govt. Technical Examination in English Typewriting by Higher Grade or equivalent. The applicant must have knowledge of Computer Operation.
- Examiner/ Field Assistant: The interested candidates must have completed Intermediate Education from a recognized AP State Board or equivalent.
Age Requirement:
- The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 18 years and must not have crossed max. age of 34 years as on 1-July-2014.
- However there will be relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, Ex-SM and PWD candidates as per rules of the APJMS.
Mode of Selection:
- The selection will be done on the basis of Written Test, and Practical Skill Test (shorthand and Typing as required).
- There may be a Personal Interview for these posts.
- The candidates are advised to bring their own typewriter for Typing Skill Test.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained on these exams in a free and fare manner.
Application Fees:
- For General and OBC Candidates: Rs.200
- For SC/ST/Ex-SM/ PWD candidates: Fees Exempted
- The fees can be remitted in shape of a Crossed Demand Draft drawn in any Nationalized Bank in favor of “The Principal District Judge, Karimnagar” and should be payable at Karimnagar.
- No other mode of fee payment will be accepted.

- The applicants should ensure that they have filled the right information at appropriate spaces.
- After filling of Application, the applicants need to make two copies of the Application and send the original copy along with other essential documents in a sealed envelope to the following address so as to reach on or before the last date specified (03-Sep-2014) by personal delivery/ Speed Post/ Registered Post/ RAPD.
