Selected candidate shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining of duty.

Mode of Selection: The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 Examination.
Minimum Qualification Required: The candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent for Electrical/ Disaster Management & Safety Disciplines; IT engineering or equivalent for Information Technology Discipline; Computer Engineering or equivalent for Computer Science Discipline; from a recognised University.
For Disaster Management & Safety Discipline, candidates possess diploma in Industrial Safety or accredited Fire & Safety courses shall be preferred.
General and OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination. SC and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates with at least 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 19,000-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/-

SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fees
The candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through bank draft drawn in favour of Delhi Transco Limited, payable at New Delhi.
