High Court of Delhi, invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant Librarian in the scale of pay Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- plus allowances as applicable. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written Examination (Paper 1 of 100 marks to check the subject (Library Science) knowledge; and Paper 2 of 100 marks to check General Knowledge including Current Awareness, Aptitude and Reasoning, Authors and their important literary works, Essay Writing, Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, Noting and Drafting, and Book Review), followed by interview of 40 marks.
Interested candidates are suggested to apply online from 27-August-2015 to 07-September-2015, and send the printout of online application form to Delhi High Court up-to 14-September-2015.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be graduate from recognised university possessing degree or diploma in library science.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years for general category candidates and 30 years for OBC category candidates as on 01-January-2015. Relaxation in upper gae limit for PwD/ Ex-Serviceman candidates applicable as per rules.
Examination Fee: Rs. 300/-
SC, ST, Persons with disability and Women candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Applicants are suggested to pay the examination fee through Demand Draft/ Pay Order/ lndian Postal Order drawn in favour of “Registrar General. Delhi High Court” payable at New Delhi.
