Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Resident in various Hospital/ Institutions of government of NCT of Delhi purely on contract basis for a period of six months, extendable up-to one year on the basis of satisfactory work.

Junior Resident – 575 Posts (Unreserved-224; OBC-208; SC-103; ST-20; PH-24)
Age Limit:
Candidates should not have exceeded 35 years of age for General candidates, 38 years for OBC category candidates, and 40 years for SC/ ST category candidates as on 17-October-2014.
Educational Qualification Criteria:
Candidates should possess MBBS qualification, and must be registered with Delhi Medical Council.
Pay Scale:
Selected candidates for the post of Junior Resident will be eligible to get the pay scale of Rs.15, 600/- + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-+ usual allowances under the rules.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written MCQ (Single Response Type) of examination, organized by the Dean, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
Application Fee:
- For General and OBC category candidates: Rs. 1,500/-
- For SC/ ST category candidates: Rs. 750/-
- PH category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
- Candidates can submit the fee in form of Demand Draft in favor of “Dean, MAMC.
