Minimum Qualification Required:
Safety Officer: The candidate must Possess a First Class Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology, and practical experience of working in any factory in a supervisory capacity for minimum period of two years, or experience of minimum five years in training education, consultancy or research in accident prevention in any industry.
OR Possess a First Class Degree in Physics or Chemistry or a First-Class Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology; and Practical experience of working in any factory in a Supervisory capacity for minimum period of five years and possesses adequate knowledge of Marathi language and a Diploma in Industrial Safety from the recognized Institution.
Welfare Officer: The candidate must Possess a first class Graduate with Diploma or Master’s Degree course recognized by Maharashtra State, as per Maharashtra Welfare Officers (duties, qualifications and conditions of service) Rules,1966 i.e. MSW/ MA(IP&PM)/ PG Diploma in Labour Welfare etc., and enrolled in the list maintained by the Director, Industrial Safety and Health, Maharashtra, Mumbai for appointment of Welfare Officer in any Factory, and possesses adequate knowledge of Marathi language.
Age Limit As on November 30, 2016: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 30 years. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Safety Officer/ Welfare Officer – Rs. 14,500 – 32,600/- per month (IDA Pattern)
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Online Written Examination.
